Today was the first of our monthly Futsal Coach Pathway sessions. For the rest of 2026, I am hosting monthly sessions for futsal caoches in northern NSW.
We have a cohort of 46 coaches taking part in this program to improve the level of coaching in the region and progress coaches to the AFC Level One and in turn improve the players we are working with!

Futsal coaches, players and officials need a place to practice and that’s what I’ve slowly being building with the NNSWF Futsal Championship, launched recently. It gives a pathway for all the futsal enthusiasts a place to play the game they love. I’ve had contact with 100s of children, parents, coaches in the two years since I landed in Australia and finally, after years of little development, Newcastle to Tweed Heads and inland is getting a futsal structure to be proud of!
It’s also two years since I landed in Australia and way too long since I last wrote on my blog, which was about our first nationals in 2025. We’re now preparing for the third and we’re hoping to take 12 teams, an increase on last year’s nine. Anyway, bear with me while I make my site look better.
